On the early morning of February 7, 2020 (the 14th day of the first month of lunar year), sweet dumpling donation team supporting Wuhan overcame numerous difficulties to pick up and load the goods in Wuhan, Zhengzhou and other places and followed the fixed routine and plan to go to logistics support departments of 16 designated hospitals such as Renmin Hospital of Wuhan University, Sunde Hospital of Southern Medical University, No. 1 Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University and others only in order to make the medical workers working at the epidemic front line eat hot sweet dumplings before Lantern Festival is approaching and convey Synear people’s sincere respect, care and blessing to them.
General manager assistant Wang Yafei: My team and I spent special 15 days. During the epidemic prevention donation, we firstly showed our intention. Our intention is to use Synear product to pass our warm to each medical worker working at the epidemic front line and make Synear product together with them in Lantern Festival. This donation always contains our love. Although we can be isolated, our love cannot be isolated. However complex it is, that the mission must reach is our requirements for ourselves. When our products are really sent to these front-line medical workers, all our affection becomes our respect.
Their protective clothing and faces with deep marks helped us understand “It is their strenuous breakthrough that we can wait and expect quietly.” From our intention, affection to respect, I saw our warm strengthen.
I feel so proud of our Synear to make these significant donations in 15 days. I am proud of all my colleagues participating in this donation activity. I also feel happy that these “Angels in white” can stick to their post. Love is everything and missing is dateless.
Public Affairs Manager Song Jia: If this anti-epidemic public donation needs to be expressed with 2 words, they are “difficult and moved”. Difficult: The current situation in Wuhan City was reported by each media. Everybody should know the whole traffic transport was stopped, the private cars were not allowed on the road and taxis were only controlled by the government. The refrigerator trucks couldn’t be found from Synear Wuhan branch warehouse to hospitals and the drivers were unavailable even if the refrigerator trucks were ready. The company personnel could not provide the support because they were blocked at home. Even our warehouse supervisor couldn’t allocate the goods on the site because he was quarantined at home. The publicity materials for public service activity couldn’t be made because all the image-text companies in Wuhan were closed. We could only send them to Zhengzhou by express. However, only SF express worked in Zhengzhou and could only provide the service for masks and other medical supplies. The problems came one by one. Another problem appeared after one problem was solved. We even encouraged ourselves with the idea “man can conquer nature”. So, we solved the problems one by one and overcame the difficulties one by one. Moved: After getting the public donation order, what I firstly thought about was the stock because the sweet dumpling was normally short or out of stock before Lantern Festival was approaching. So, we quickly contacted Wang Chengli, the manager of operating center. When she knew that we would make donations to Wuhan epidemic area, she helped us to quickly lock the stock after checking the stock in Wuhan branch warehouse and weighing the distribution requirements of shops and supermarkets. Then, the manager Wang Mingtao, supervisor Jing Feng and supervisor Wang Fei were careful and cautious to control the subsequent distribution work in order to ensure everything goes well. All this showed Synear people’s attitude to public benefit and spirit of unselfish devotion.
Somebody needed to go to hospital during the public donation. The personnel from Wuhan Branch bore the brunt. Wu Weixian, Xu Jie, Xiang Chengcheng and Tu Tongmao handed the company products to the medical workers in the hospital. Their fearless spirit made each of us moved.
At the beginning, we couldn’t find the connection person for donation to Sunde Hospital of Southern Medical University. So, we casually asked the manager Jiao Penghe. Foshan is just the area under the control of the manager Jiao Penghe. He only said:”I will follow you whatever you ask”. We seemed to hear our family voice. Everybody says that a friend in need is a friend indeed. This love is the fearless and unselfish love.
Media Affairs Manager Xiao Peng: This swift and violent outbreak disordered our original working pace. In fact, we have planned the public activity “Warm Way Home” for Chinese New Year’s Eve for 2 months. But, it was stopped because of serious tensions. I thought I could have a rest in my hometown. But, the new task was coming soon.
Since the Chinese New Year’s Eve, the discussion about what we should do for fighting the epidemic flooded our working group. Finally, we chose a hard way. That is to directly donate the materials to the front-line medical workers. Next, the products allocation, logistics guarantee and recipients’ connection suddenly became very difficult under the circumstance of mass prevention and mass control. We can say that all the working way, working path and working difficulties familiarized by us rose on a geometric scale and became harder and harder day by day.
In 16 donated hospitals confirmed by us, the donations of 6 hospitals in Zhengzhou were distributed by Wang Fei from Inner Mongolia. I knew he was originally in charge of the distribution for tens of shops and supermarkets in Zhengzhou. I also knew the shops and supermarkets hastened the delivery for several times because we were short of the logistics trucks and drivers. But, I continued to press him in order to ensure successful donation. On the 14th day of first month of lunar year, we were finally on the way of distribution at dawn although the snow didn’t thaw. On the truck, Wang Fei answered a phone and hung up only with few words. I heard he whispered:” they don’t know I will go to hospital. Why do you let them know?”At that moment, I suddenly understood this thin guy from Inner Mongolia actually bore too much and put a lot because he didn’t spend Spring Festival in his hometown for successive 3 years and even he had no chance to see his kid.
This sudden outbreak disturbed many people’s life and arouse many complaints. It is so lucky that we see these unselfish people help each other in difficult time or walk hand in hand. This power may be the hope!
